Product Empties/Would I Repurchase?

This is a very popular thing for Beauty Gurus on Youtube to do, and I thought, why not accumulate some products after using them up and whn I have a good amount of empties lying around, I'll write a blog post about them all.

Turns out, I use up a lot of stuff, especially over the course of several months.  SO there are a lot of products here, I'll try to keep the reviews quick and to the point.

Here goes...

Bioderma Sensibio H2O
This stuff couldn't be any better. It's gentle, removes makeup, ALL of it.  The only down side is the price, but it does last long because you don't need much for it to work effectively. Plus, makeup artists at NYFW swear by this stuff, so if it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me!

Michael Todd True Organics Charcoal Detox
I loved this cleanser when I was using, but have found better ones since.  It's great for a deep clean, but a little over stripping for everyday use.  Not sure whether or not I'll be repurchasing this, but I did like it when I used it.

Cherry Blossom Lashes #IW12
Loved these lashes, they were very cheap on http://www.loveyelashes.com.  Can't complain.

Michael Todd True Organics Antiox Serum with DMAE and Alpha Lipoic Acid
I really loved this serum, as you can tell since I've used up two bottles of this stuff. Michael Todd products are great, but expensive. I buy them when I find them on sale on BeyondtheRack.com. So I don't always have the chance to repurchase these items straight away.

The Body Shop Body Butters: Mango and Coconut
Nothing beats The Body Shop body butters. They smell amazing and work great.  I've been using them for a dry shave when I'm too lazy to do the entire shower shave routine. It works great and leaves my skin instantly moisturized.

Lush Sympathy for the Skin (Peau de Banane) Hand and Body Lotion
This stuff is heaven! For all you banana lovers out there, this is for you.  It smells like straight up bananas.  Such a nice lotion to apply after showering and the smell is so comforting. It makes putting on moisturizer a fun task.

Urban Decay De-Slick Setting Spray
You can't go wrong with this stuff. It works great, keeps my makeup in place. Will repurchase again, already have, and will keep doing it if and when a better product emerges.

Dr.Jart+ Black Label Detox BB Beauty Balm
I finished this sample size earlier this summer and fell in love with it.  It covers everything, keeps me oil-free all day. I just adore this stuff!

Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm
Taking my makeup off at the end of the day has become an almost effortless task. I take a quarter size amount of it and rub it all over my face. My makeup then melts away and my skin has been really enjoying this stuff over the past several months of use. I have repurchased it and am almost out of the second one too.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray
One cannot go wrong with UD setting sprays. The one thing I will say though is I don't see a big difference between their two kinds of setting sprays, both keep my makeup in place, so it's really a packaging thing I guess. Pick the colour you prefer.

Biotherm Aquasource Deep Serum
I decided to purchase some good quality skincare items earlier this summer to help me stay matte during the hot weather.  I started using this serum and my skin has been drinking it in. It loves this stuff and has been doing great all summer. I can apply my makeup and not worry about it the entire day because my skin is good.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
To be honest, this isn't my favorite eye primer.  The sample came with the Naked palette so I used it, but I found other eyeshadow primers that I prefer and that are cheaper.

Clean&Clear Foaming Facial Wash Sensitive Skin
This stuff was part of my everyday skincare routine for about 4 years (no exaggeration). I stuck to a strict routine to get rid of my acne and this was a big part of it. I loved this stuff and great for teenaged skin battling breakouts.

Lush Cosmetic Warrior (La guerre des boutons) Fresh Face Mask
I really like Lush fresh face masks. They have to be kept in the fridge and last only a few weeks.  When I have one of these masks on hand I use it about 2-3 times a week.  It's also very soothing to apply a cold mask at the end of the day.

Lush Cupcake (Sauve qui Peau) Fresh Face Mask
The oh-so popular cupcake mask is the ultimate indulgence when it comes to skincare because it looks and smells like chocolate cake batter. Amazing stuff, perfect for a girl's night in :)

Biotherm Aquasource
A gel moisturizer that works very well to hydrate the skin.  My skin has loved this all summer as a night 'cream'. I've repurchased this stuff as well and will probably for a long time.

Lush H'Suan Wen Hua Hair Mask
This stuff is amazing! It's also super easy to use because it's to be applied on dry hair and washed out right after in the shower.  No waiting around with wet hair for several minutes in the shower.  I'll be repurchasing this stuff again.

Batiste Dry Shampoo
One cannot say enough good things about this stuff. It saves my hair from too many washes. I've repurchased so many of these to count.

Ren ClearCalm3 Cleanser
This is the cleanser that saved my skin this summer. I wanted to change up my skincare and was trying many different cleansers out and my skin hated them all.  I finally was recommended this one at Sephora and my skin was very thankful. It cleans my skin without stripping it, which is a very important factor.  Needless to say I've repurchased it.

Simple Cleansing Wipes
I don't like using these on my face.  I'll keep some around for emergencies, or airplane rides, but I very rarely use them on my face.  I liked these, they were gentle, so I may repurchase them in the future.

Mayebelline the Falsies Mascara
A legend in the drugstore mascara world, this stuff is really good. I did repurchase this one since and the water-proof version as well.

The Body Shop Olive Body Scrub
Just like their body butters, their scrubs are great! They come in many different textures and scents to please everyone. The olive one was very creamy and coarse to give a thorough exfoliation while still leaving the skin moisturized. Definitely repurchase worthy.

Johnson's Baby Shampoo
I use this to wash my makeup brushes. It's great because it's effective, yet gentle. So my brushes get a deep clean and there isn't any irritant residue left on the brush to affect my skin negatively. I've repurchased.

Michael Todd True Organics Intensive Eye Cream

I liked this stuff, but after using other eye creams since, I realized that it wasn't all that effective. I wouldn't buy this product again.

There you have it, those were the products I used up over the past few months.  I'll try to post more often when it comes to empties so I don't have 24 products to review at once.

Let me know which products you have used up lately !

xx
