September Favorites 2014

Another month has gone by, and that means another monthly faves post must go up !

I've been on a neutrals kick for a while now and these products very well reflect that.

Here are the products I enjoyed using the most over the past month.

See by Chloe Eau de Parfum
I received this back in December of last year and it has been one of my absolute favorite perfumes since, I just haven't mentioned it yet. It's a very different scent than most other perfumes on the market, it's sweet, but not that typical sweet scent that gets sickening and is too overpowering. The notes in this perfume are Ylang Ylang, jasmine, vanilla and musk. It also lasts very well on the skin which is great for long days.

L'Oréal Collection Privée by JLo in 370 Jennifer's Nude
Being on an everlasting quest for the ultimately perfect nude colour for me, I had to pick this up after a trip to Pharmaprix (Canadian drugstore). It is part of the Exclusive Collection from L'Oréal in their Color Riche range. I chose Jennifer's nude because it looked like the perfect mix of pink and brown and wasn't too dark for my complexion. It looks great on my pigmented lips and it's become a staple on days when I play up my eyes and want my lips to be neutral.















Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette 
Ah the Naked 3 palette. So much to love. It's the third instalment in the oh-so popular and loved Naked series. I love using this on days when I want to look wide awake. The pink undertones just brighten the face up and makes everything look fresh and radiant.  I'll keep using this gem until it runs out.

It's Skinn Cookie and Hand Cream
I bought this at an Asian beauty store earlier this summer.  I didn't use it much until this month because I was finishing the other hand cream I had going.  I am so happy to have this one going now, because it's such a dream to apply and the scent is sweet and comforting, perfect right before bed.

Réserve Naturelle Bronzing Powder in Terracotta
I received this in a swap I recently did with a good friend of mine (full post on that to come). Réserve Naturelle is a French brand of cosmetics which are made in Italy. They are very affordable and great quality for the price. This bronzer has been my go-to bronzer for the month. It's mostly matte and great for light skinned people such as myself.

Revlon Brow Fantasy in Dark Blonde 
I picked this up at the drugstore last month, because after loving the Benefit Gimme Brow, I really wanted to love a drugstore brow product that I could use everyday and keep the high end stuff for special occasions.  I ended up really liking this one. There's a pencil on one end to fill out the brows and a gel on the other to set it in place.  It keeps my brows in place all day.

Soap and Glory Kick Ass Concealer in Light 
I've been loving this concealer for a while now, but never talked about it in a monthly faves post before. So here it is. A great little product with three uses and a very low price. There is a salmony color which is great to cover dark circles under the eyes, a lighter more yellow toned colour for blemishes and redness and there is also a pressed powder to set it all in place. This stuff is just a miracle in a pot.
