Ipsy March 2015: Floral Fantasy

The first spring inspired Ipsy bag of the year ! Smells like fresh flowers and sunshine to me :)

The bag itself is very spring-y and I love it! The contents are also all very good and I am quite happy with it this month.

NYX Butter Lipstick in BLS17 Pops ($6.00)
This colour is right up my alley. I've been loving brown-toned neutrals a whole lot for the past couple months, so this lipstick is absolutely perfect. The formula is creamy and pigmented. No complaints.

Vintage by Jessica Liebeskind Illuminating Face Highlighter in Crystal Pink ($10.00)
At first look, I thought this was a blush. It is very pink. However, after looking at the product description I learned that it's actually a highlighter. I'm not too sure how much I like the overly pink-hued highlighter, but I will give it a try.

Boo-Boo Cover-Up in Medium ($8.00)
This stuff is good! It has a perfect creamy, not too thick, not too watery, consistency. It will, I believe, cover pretty much anything. The only flaw I can see is that the shade range is quite limited.  As a pale-skinned girl myself, it isn't often that the medium shade suits me almost perfectly, and this one does. So, I'm thinking women with skin tones darker than mine, may not be able to use this product, considering it may be too light for their skin.

pür-lisse Beauty Delicate Gentle Soymilk Cleanser and Makeup Remover ($7.00)
Any cream cleanser is welcome in my skin care routine. I find they don't leave my skin dry after cleansing. This is a good product, it is nice and gentle and doesn't leave my skin screaming for moisturizer.  Plus, the ingredients are good, mostly natural and sulfate free.

Gilchrist and Soames London Collection Body Lotion ($4.00)
This body lotion looks, smells and feels quite luxurious. The packaging is crisp and white. The scent is fresh and slightly fruity, a perfect product for the upcoming spring season.

Bag total: $35.00

This bag was perhaps the best in a while, I really liked and see myself using each and every product, however, I have decided to unsubscribe from Ipsy.  It's not because I dislike the service, I just would like to use the products more, and I find myself not reaching for my Ipsy bag contents as much as other items. I was subscribed for a year, got to try many new things, received and used lovely makeup bags. Now I can save my money and buy full size items I will actually use.

I still recommend Ipsy to anyone who wants to try something new, have a fun little package to open each month for a great price. It's just time for me to move on to bigger and better things.

Let me know what other subscription services you like.

xx
